Exeter Medical School:
The MSc in Applied Health Services Research at the University of Exeter Medical School has been developed for those who wish to participate in health services research and specifically evidence-based interventions that are inherent in the delivery of high quality and safe healthcare. Assessed elements of the programme include how to: conduct a systematic review, design a research study, prepare a written bid for funding and develop a business plan for quality improvement or organisational development within a range of healthcare contexts.
‘Core Concepts of Health Services Research’ and’ Implementation Science’ are two modules on the programme that can be studied as stand-alone accredited or non-accredited options for CPD purposes and are highly appropriate for those engaged actively at the forefront of health services improvement.
