Lay Representation

We work alongside a number of independent Lay Representatives , from a range of backgrounds, who we appoint to attend a variety of assessment, recruitment panels and school board meetings.  We expect our Lay Representatives to provide feedback on processes, highlight areas of good practice and areas of development.  We aim to use lay feedback to aid continual monitoring, review and development of the quality of postgraduate medical education and training.

The role does not carry a contract of employment and remuneration for the role will be £75 for a half day and £150 for a full day.  Preparation time will be required prior to each meeting, which may include reading of papers or other documentation.  The job description outlines the principle functions that the successful candidates will be required to undertake.
