End of Post Surveys

End of Post (EoP) surveys form an integral part of our Quality Framework (QF).  At the present time EoP surveys are conducted for Foundation, ACCS, CMT and GP trainees.

Responses to the surveys are anonymised and aggregrated to protect trainee identity, with access to individual responses being restricted to the Quality and Information team and the Postgraduate Dean (upon request).  Non-responders can be identified to their training programme to ensure appropriate compliance with the trainees' educational contract and to ensure that the information received is accurate and valid.

Training programmes will not have access to the individual trainee responses to the survey.  Trainees may unwittingly disclose their identity through the free text comments that they provide.  Peninsula Postgraduate Medical Education is unable to guarantee that any such comments are filtered out when reporting results to Postgraduate Schools, the relevant training programme and Local Education Provider (LEP).

Information obtained via EoP surveys will be triangulated with data received from the GMC National Training Survey (NTS) and the LEP Quality Panels, to identify trends, areas of development and to enable the sharing of good practice.

If you have any queries relating to EoP surveys please contact the Quality team via PEN.Surveys@southwest.hee.nhs.uk.
