Aim of Course:
To develop advanced skills for supporting colleagues. These are transferable skills for many areas in medicine
Objectives:

Describe Counselling and Coaching as contexts for working with others

Describe the ‘Stages of Change’ model and the concept of ambivalence

Use skills derived from Motivational Interviewing, principally the OARS model, to work with others to promote change and development
