Applications are invited for appointment as a NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Renal Medicine as part of Integrated Academic Training (IAT). This four-year post is part of a broad programme to improve academic medical career pathways and is co-ordinated by the NIHR Trainees Coordinating Centre.
Doctors wishing to apply for a NIHR CL must already hold a higher research degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in a relevant subject area and must be at a minimum level of ST3 and have demonstrable evidence of satisfactory progress in both clinical and academic training.
The NIHR TCC Integrated Academic Training (IAT) Clinical Lectureship post allows the successful candidate to spend 50% of their time in clinical training and 50% of their time undertaking research at the University of Exeter Medical School. Research will be supervised by an appropriately matched senior academic.
