0930-1030 - Paediatric dehydration, electrolyte disturbance, calculating fluids in kids, and pyloric stenosis (PAP8) Dr Danny McRae, EM consultant
1030-1130 – Clinical Examination (CC2)- Ms Fionn Bellis, EM consultant
1130-1150 – Coffee
1150-1230 – Dialysis – Dr Lou Mitchell, EM Consultant
1230-1330 – Lunch

1330-1530 - Urology workshop with Mr Soumya Misra, Mr Mike Foster, and Mr Martin Moody, consultants in urology
1330-1415 - Causes of acute retention, who needs admission & why. Presentation-based session
1415-1430 - Coffee
1430-1530 - Informal workshop discussing:
- Catheterisation technique, finesse when it's tricky, specialist kit and catheters that are available
- Last resorts where there is no urologist readily available (suprapubic aspiration). Why SPC should be done with ultrasound / how an expert does it.
- Things urologists wish ED knew or did!
- 'Ask an expert' – things you’ve always wanted to ask a urologist!
1530-1600 - Wrap up, summary of day, and home.
