from Crownhill Car Park or Bus Stop

On foot, you will see Plumer House directly opposite Crownhill bus stop and car park, head out of the top of the car park, or bus stop and you will see the subway to your right, walk over the bridge. Head into the subway and take the right hand turn when you have gone under the main road, you will then emerge outside with Plumer House in front of you, head towards the main reception.

Plymouth Station is located approximately 3.7 miles from Plumer House which is a 15 minute taxi ride (allow 40 minutes peak time) or 20 minute bus ride.

CAR PARKING

Visitor parking at Plumer House is very limited so we would encourage all visitors to use the public car parking facilities close by and within a short walking distance. There is disabled parking outside the building for visitors if anyone has a blue badge.

From Exeter via the A38

Continue on the Devon Express way to the A386 slip road to A374/City centre/Tavistock/ Torpoint. At Manadon Roundabout, take the 5th exit onto the A386 slip road to Tavistock / Airport / Derriford /Southway/ Belliver / Estover. Merge onto Manadon Hill/ A386 and continue along the A386 heading towards the Crownhill Traffic lights stay in the left hand lane past Noakes Habermehl and Ker opticians and under the bridge, follow the road round to the left, take the first left at the roundabout and merge onto the main road, stay in the left hand lane and take the first turning left by Farm foods, continue along the road and take the first turning on the right before the road merges back onto the A386 then the first turning on the right into Plumer House.

From Cornwall via A38

Over the Tamar bridge and continue on the A38 to the A386 slip road sign posted A374 /City centre / Tavistock / Torpoint. At Manadon Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A386 slip road to Tavistock / Airport / Derriford /Southway/ Belliver / Estover. Merge onto Manadon Hill/ A386 and continue along the A386 heading towards the Crownhill Traffic lights stay in the left hand lane past Noakes Habermehl and Ker opticians and under the bridge, follow the road round to the left, take the first left at the roundabout and merge onto the main road, stay in the left hand lane and take the first turning left by Farm foods, continue along the road and take the first turning on the right before the road merges back onto the A386 then the first turning on the right into Plumer House.

From Derriford A386

Stay on the A386 heading towards Crownhill, remain in the left hand lane and take the turning on the left just before the crown hill bridge by Farm foods take the first turning on the left then the first turning on the right into Plumer House.

From the A386 towards Derriford Hospital/ Tavistock

Heading towards the Crownhill Traffic lights stay in the left hand lane and take the left hand turn just after the traffic lights onto Meavy Way heading towards Noakes Habermehl and Ker opticians then turn right into the optician / City council carpark.

From Derriford A386

On the A386 heading towards Crownhill, stay in the left hand lane and take the turning on the left just after the Crownhill Bridge towards the Crownhill shops. Follow the road round to the left and stay in the left hand lane which filters off the main road. Just past Knowle House Surgery and Pharmacy on the left is the entry to Noakes Habermehl and Ker opticians and the city council car park, turn left into the car park.

On foot, turn right out of the car park past Knowle House Surgery and Pharmacy towards the subway, you will see Plumer House on the opposite side of the road on your right and Farm foods directly ahead of you. Head into the subway and take the right hand turn when you have gone under the main road, you will then emerge outside with Plumer House in front of you, head towards the main reception.

Crownhill shops short stay carpark (PL6 5US for SAT NAVs)

Maximum 2 hours – Free of charge but you must get a ticket from the machine by inputting your Car registration, display the ticket in your car.

Fom the A386 towards Derriford Hospital/ Tavistock

Heading towards the Crownhill Traffic lights stay in the left hand lane past the opticians and under the bridge, follow the road round to the left, take the first left at the roundabout and merge onto the main road, stay in the left hand lane and take the first turning left by Farm foods. Continue to stay in the left hand lane and follow it round and onto the slip road on the left into crown hill shops. Just after the pedestrian crossing there is a narrow left hand turn which will take you into the crown hill Carpark. The parking machine is at the top of the carpark and the carpark opens out a little more nearer the top.

From Derriford A386

Stay on the A386 heading towards Crownhill, stay in the left hand lane and take the turning on the left just after the Crownhill Bridge towards the Crownhill shops. Just after the pedestrian crossing there is a narrow left hand turn which will take you into the Crownhill Carpark. The parking machine is at the top of the carpark and the carpark opens out a little more nearer the top.
